City of Boise's Warm Springs Golf Course and Quail Hollow Golf Course are seeking Golf Shop Attendants to provide friendly, high-level customer service to patrons of the Golf Pro Shop.
This position:

• 
  Is currently open to all interested persons age 16 and older
• Works up to 40 hours per week up to 9 months
• Works varied schedules to include evenings and weekends

Works in the Golf Pro Shop, stocks shelves with products, cashiers, collects money, assists customers with product questions, sales of food and beverages, and t-shirt management. (50%)

Picks up balls on the driving range, cleans golf carts, and other assorted tasks as assigned by management. (50%)

Performs other duties as assigned. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time. Total Percentage = 100%

Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Knowledge of the game of golf and golf products.

Ability to exercise some independent judgment; perform basic mathematical calculations; operate a cash register and calculate change quickly and accurately; work extended weekend hours; interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner; display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of city employees, the general public and other organizations; communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies, and regulations; maintain prompt and regular attendance; perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Two years' experience at a golf course pro shop/front desk.
