Job brief:

We are looking for a Head of Operations to oversee daily activities across functions such as finance, HR, IT, and regulatory compliance. As an ideal candidate, you have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. You’ll work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business.

Responsibilities:

- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
- Design policies that align with the overall strategy
- Implement efficient processes and standards (SOC2, PII compliance, etc.)
- Build the processes map and calculate each part of the process in terms of money/time
- Offer scalable processes structure with a clear roadmap of how they will change and enhance based on the company’s growth
- Create operations playbook
- Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
- Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
- Work with project managers and sales team in the development of financial and budgetary plans
- Devise strategies to ensure the growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs

Requirements:

- 7+ experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role in the US-based companies
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
- Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, and IT
- Experience with implementing IT systems
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with budget and business plan development
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
