A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN " IT SPECIALIST"

• Bench (load) computers and mobile devices to standards
• Assist with onboarding / offboarding new hires and separations by working closely with HR to meet accuracy and scheduling constraints of accounts and equipment
• Install computers at individual workstations
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
• Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on established priority guidelines
• Setup EHR, Mitel, and Microsoft individual accounts on computers and mobile devices
• Configure Office Apps (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) on individual computers
• Log all time in ConnectWise tickets within established timeframes
• Document all configuration changes in ConnectWise within established timeframes
• Assist in software deployments
• Troubleshooting and resolving of helpdesk issues to user satisfaction
• Provides first-level problem resolution remotely eeor in-person with users
• Escalation of helpdesk issues to Lv. 2 team or IT Manager after initial triage
• Track hardware in inventory
• Install and troubleshoot printers
• Assist with transporting equipment to be shipped regularly
• Adhere to established levels of service
• A+ preferred

Requirements:

• Must possess an active Virginia driver's license
• Minimum of Associate's degree (or 3 years relevant work experience), Bachelor's degree preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, general networking, and an ability to quickly gain familiarity with EMR systems
• Ability to triage IT tickets based on severity with minimal oversight
• Comfortable working collaboratively with key operational team members
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel on a regular or as needed basis
