A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN " IT SPECIALIST"
- Bench (load) computers and mobile devices to standards
- Assist with onboarding / offboarding new hires and separations by working closely with HR to meet accuracy and scheduling constraints of accounts and equipment
- Install computers at individual workstations
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on established priority guidelines
- Setup EHR, Mitel, and Microsoft individual accounts on computers and mobile devices
- Configure Office Apps (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) on individual computers
- Log all time in ConnectWise tickets within established timeframes
- Document all configuration changes in ConnectWise within established timeframes
- Assist in software deployments
- Troubleshooting and resolving of helpdesk issues to user satisfaction
- Provides first-level problem resolution remotely eeor in-person with users
- Escalation of helpdesk issues to Lv. 2 team or IT Manager after initial triage
- Track hardware in inventory
- Install and troubleshoot printers
- Assist with transporting equipment to be shipped regularly
- Adhere to established levels of service
- A+ preferred
Requirements:
- Must possess an active Virginia driver's license
- Minimum of Associate's degree (or 3 years relevant work experience), Bachelor's degree preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, general networking, and an ability to quickly gain familiarity with EMR systems
- Ability to triage IT tickets based on severity with minimal oversight
- Comfortable working collaboratively with key operational team members
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel on a regular or as needed basis
