Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is looking for dedicated, compassionate and energetic individuals to start their healthcare career with our organization as a Hospitality Aide at either the Eastern Montana Veterans Home (EMVH) or Extended Care (EC). This is an entry-level position in a program that is designed to give a hands-on approach to working in the Long Term Care setting. A Hospitality Aide performs tasks that directly support CNA's in their care delivery. Responsibilities include making beds, tidying rooms, delivering linens and other supplies, preparing dining areas and bringing residents to and from meals and activities. Ideal candidates will have good communication skills including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy. This position requires team work and the ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
Hospitality Aides are enrolled in our C.N.A. class; this class is held approximately every six (6) weeks. GMC pays for your C.N.A. certification ($1500 value) and you get paid to take the class!
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Basic computer skills required
Upon receiving your C.N.A. certification your hourly wage will increase to $13.44. Glendive Medical Center also offers a full benefits package including: Health Insurance, Vision, Dental and 401k! We are also offering up to $500 bonus at one year of employment as a C.N.A.!
