Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods and cargo from one location to another in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform routine inspections of the truck, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery logs, and inspection reports.
• Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers.
• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to industry standards.
• Ensure that the weight distribution is balanced, use proper equipment and techniques, and protect the cargo from damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
• Adhere to electronic logging device (ELD) requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting.
• Uphold a professional and positive image as a representative of the company.
