Production Team Member, Industrial Athlete, Robotics Technician, Coach, Mentor, and Supervisor positions available. Hires are needed to fill newly created positions and to backfill recently departed team members.

Starting Rate:

$15.80/hour starting for 1st Shift

$16.80/hour starting for 2nd Shift

$17.80/hour starting for 3rd Shift

$17.80/hour starting for WKD Shift

$18.15/hour starting for Part Time Employment

$18.80/hour+ starting for Leadership Positions

Specialty positions begin with an additional $1.00/hour. Leadership positions begin with up to an additional $3.00 premium starting. Wage increases occur at 1 year, 1.5 year, 2 year, 5 year, 10 year, 15 year, 20 year, etc. and an annual cost of living adjustment is observed every February.

Hourly/Non-Exempt with Salaried Non-Exempt and Salaried Exempt growth options available.

Hours Required:

1st shift (D) - 12 hours: Tuesday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

1st shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday (A) 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM or (B) 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

1st shift (C) - 8 hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

2nd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM

3rd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15 PM to 6:45 AM

WKD shift - 12 hours: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Part Time - Make your own schedule! Minimum of 4 hours per shift, minimum of 12 hours per week, maximum of 28 hours per week

Summer Help/Seasonal - Full Time Hours (schedules above) for under four months of employment.

Breaks/Lunch:

Shift times & lengths vary depending on department/shift.

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift receive 1-15 minute paid break & 1-30 minute unpaid lunch break. Our 12 hour shifts receive 2-15 minute paid breaks and 1-30 paid lunch break.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

None needed. On-the-job training is provided. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience will be given preference over those without.

Role Overview: Hourly production team members are responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing of orders. These orders include, but are not limited to: architectural, residential, and commercial units, stalls, railings, windows, walls, doors, etc. Ideal candidates are those looking for long-term employment opportunities who are also interested in leadership opportunities, building teams, and improving processes.

Dress Code/Protective Gear: Work gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed or composite shoes. Certain departments within the facility do require the wear of supplied cut-resistant clothing.

Essential Functions:

  • Read, comprehend and execute production/scheduling plan by following the production schedule
  • Operate a computer
  • Manipulate knobs on machinery
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, and more utilizing team lifting
  • Push/pull tables and racks of glass
  • Verbally communicate with other production team members to coordinate tasks
  • Assist in the insurance safe working environment for self and fellow team members by addressing safety concerns, training, and by holding team members accountable to Cardinal LG’s safety standards
  • Is responsible for evaluating weekly punches for self via paper time edits and/or electronically via Attendance on Demand
  • Works closely with Department Manager, Shift Manager, Supervisor, and/or other Production Team Members to supply necessary production information
  • Follows all facility policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Partners with Team Members by soliciting feedback and suggestions to improve departmental function and morale
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and treats fellow team members at all levels with respect and dignity
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully using all mediums: electronic, written, face-to-face and telephonic
  • Participates in required trainings
  • Use email, phones, radios, and in-person communications

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows
  • Train others to help them gain knowledge in your strength areas as needed
  • Request additional trainings as concerns regarding processes arise
