Stier Supply Company is a 76-year-old family run and operated organization whose goal is to be the #1 Millwork Services company in the Southeast US. Our install teams are responsible for working in new residential neighborhoods where they focus on installing exterior doors, interior doors, trim, stairs, hardware, and blinds.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and organized Human Resources Specialist to provide administrative and organizational support to our HR, Benefits, and Payroll Manager at our Gaston/Sandy Run, South Carolina location. The ideal candidate can manage and prioritize multiple projects while working independently with little to no supervision.
Duties of the HR Specialist include but are not limited to the following:
- Aid our employees in the use of several web-based platforms including Paychex and encourage new hires to create Benefit accounts and make selections through Benefit Connector website.
- Process and maintain records and compliance for child support, bankruptcy orders, and tax levies.
- Create weekly termination/hiring reports and monthly headcount reports.
- Work directly with Human Resources on FMLA leave, Worker?s Compensation claims, issues & payments, and other forms of Leave of Absence.
- Assist in digitizing existing paper documents.
- Provide backup to payroll team & process payroll by themselves on weekly basis.
- Additional clerical duties as assigned by manager.
- Support Performance Review Process & Manage to ensure timely completion.
