INOAC, located in Fremont, OH is hiring for a HR Generalist.

The HR Generalist position is engaged with our employees throughout their day, assisting with attendance, benefits, counseling, as well as hiring and orientation. You will join a team of three other HR professionals.

INOAC in Fremont, is a proud supplier to Tier One Automotive industry, and produces automotive spoilers and winglets for GM, Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan and others, with our products on vehicles locally and internationally.

Successful Candidate will need to pass a drug & alcohol screen and a background check.

The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist will have the following qualifications.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Support and assist HR team members to effectively and efficiently deliver high quality services to the organization. The Generalist must support the organization’s workforce in achieving business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate:

Orientation process, including continuous improvement efforts and assisting in instruction

Hiring and promotion practices, including production and salary

Lead efforts to formalize, and keep updated, all HR processes and QOS measures and charting

Document, and accurately keep current, key processes as they pertain to given responsibilities

Coordinate training activities plant wide including recordkeeping, training needs analysis, and development of training tools.

Assist with education, training and development of frontline leaders

Monitor performance evaluation system, including production and salary

Assist with payroll, attendance, and insurance responsibilities for entire workforce

Spend time on the production floor interfacing with people and addressing issues and concerns

Participate in HR Department team initiatives

Participate in formal improvement team activities. Support all departmental and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives.

Participate in IATF 16949-2016/ ISO 14001 activities or any other organizational certifications as needed

Other tasks as assigned by Plant HR Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, use of hands type and write; reach with hands and arms, talking and hearing. Employee will occasionally lift and/or move product. Developmental training will be defined by the Department Manager and could be in-house or external to the company.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent related experience and education.

Experience in Human Resources (2+ years minimum) in a similar environment with responsibility for hiring, performance evaluations, orientation, and training (generalist)

Spend time with employees on the manufacturing floor.

Able to create, analyze, and update spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and word processing documents on computer as it pertains to HR-type processes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Able to work any shift with overtime, possibly on short notice. Our manufacturing facility is a 3-shift operation.

Ability to travel, possibly overnight (<5% of the time).

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to establish and reach work goals.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory training will be conducted within the required time periods identified on the plant Training Matrix which includes but not limited to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), BBP (Blood Borne Pathogens), Contingency Plan, Etc... Developmental training will be defined by the HR Manager and could be in-house or external to ABC/INOAC.
