You will be trusted to:

  • Performs a variety of complex human resources duties at the professional level related to HR services, policies and programs.
  • Develops, implements and leads contingent workforce staffing, background checks, I-9 compliance and drug testing programs in coordination and partnership with HR team members.
  • Provides oversight and ensures data integrity for transactions in a variety of HR systems in support of HR operational needs.
  • Identifies issues for assigned areas and develops recommendations for solutions.
  • Partners with the business and HR staff to implement and monitor resolution activities.
  • Obtains continuing education to recognize changes in company, state and federal compliance requirements.

You qualify with:

  • Nine or more years of experience in human resources. A degree(s) in human resource management, business or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

  • Experience with drug and alcohol policy administration (DOT regulations, testing, training, etc)
  • Experience with background check compliance and processes
  • Experience working with 3rd-party vendors that manage key HR programs
  • Degree in human resource management, business administration or relevant field
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts and effectively coach both managers and employees
  • Advanced communication skills, including verbal and written to all levels of an organization
  • Experience developing compliant, efficient and effective HR solutions to business needs
  • Experience leading HR programs
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies
  • Experience using PeopleSoft
