Purpose:
The HR Support Analyst supports Human Resource technology initiatives including talent development and management programs, career development initiatives, payroll, benefits, workplace learning, and retention by enabling access and use to the Human Capital Management (HCM) technology. The Analyst is responsible for the support, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Human Resource systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate and interact with IT and HR associates in routine operations as needed to resolve technical and functional process issues with HR systems (such as Ceridian) as required.
  • Establish, contribute to and/or adhere to all key departmental operating procedures around governance, project management, release management, software lifecycle management, change management, and application and data security controls
  • Gather requirements, perform analysis, and modify assigned systems following IT governance policies
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity in systems and all other systems to which it interfaces by running queries/reports and analyzing data.
  • Work with business and IT management to plan and coordinate application upgrades and ensure they are thoroughly tested and successfully deployed
  • Assist in maintaining HCM system tables and document processes as needed.
  • Assist both external and internal customers to resolve technical and functional process issues.
  • Support the structure of HR systems, user profiles access/security issues.
  • Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, and manage security within the systems.
  • Work collaboratively to troubleshoot, research and escalate issues as necessary, proactively keeping end-users aware of status and taking responsibility for ensuring that outstanding issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Assist to develop user procedures, guidelines and other documentation as needed.
  • Run simple queries and ad-hoc reports as needed; Assist in development of standard reporting and analysis for ongoing business needs.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reconciliation exercises to validate data is in sync between systems.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop system guidelines, and best practices related to work responsibility for end users and learning content developers.
  • Assist in the collection of information for internal and external audits.
  • Work to improve processes and enhance accuracy of data within assigned HR systems.
  • Assess and prioritize issues by working directly with business customers to ensure that the most urgent items are being addressed within defined service levels.
  • Differentiate between non-critical and critical problem symptoms, and devise root cause solutions, create ad-hoc reporting and implement acceptable fixes and/or workarounds for issues
  • Learns new skills quickly and adapts to rapidly changing environments
  • Handles multiple and conflicting priorities and workloads. Recognizes and reacts to situations with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Fosters a cooperative work environment. Must be a team-oriented individual and work effectively with limited supervision
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in HR or HRIS and reporting and at least 2 years of service in a corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)
  • Understanding of I-9/E-Verify compliance and employment laws.
  • Technologically literate with a global mindset.
  • Strong auditing and data entry skills
  • Computer and/or HR Skills to include: Ceridian Dayforce, Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Extremely organized with strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation in all situations.
  • Willingness, ability, and flexibility to adjust work schedule for occasional nights and weekends in case of business need
