Summary:

Administers, develops, and researches the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), in addition to other special projects. Monitors and updates the system to meet ongoing business needs and generates reports to support HR (Human Resource) functions, including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics. Ensures that data is accurately processed and maintained according to organization rules and applicable regulations. Responsible for defining system requirements and working with external vendors to evaluate and select HRIS software and systems. Acts as a liaison with other HR functions and departments.

Essential Duties/Functions:

  • Consult with HR team and other departments to determine HRIS needs.
  • Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
  • Documenting processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports.
  • Performing application upgrades, as well as and providing training and technical support.
  • Developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Performing statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and running queries.
  • Ensuring the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics.
  • Performing internal audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, terminations, and payroll administration.
  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, information systems HR management, business administration or similar. PHR or other HR or HRIS certifications a plus.

Years of Experience:

Typically, 1-3 years of related experience in Employee Data Management, HR Metrics & Analytics, HR Regulatory Compliance, or Human Resources Information Systems required.

Demands:

  • Ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
  • Ability to analyze HRIS and HR performance metrics.
  • Understanding of database management and security.
  • Understanding of HRM software.
  • Ability to document processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRM software, such as Oracle HCM, Power BI, ADP KRONOS, UKG, etc. a MAJOR PLUS!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
