Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to support HR and Payroll from a Workday systems perspective. This position will have an opportunity to support short and long-term projects that deliver HR’s strategic vision. The role will be focused on custom reporting, dashboards, system configuration, data migration, testing, troubleshooting and end-user assistance.

Must be located in one of the following states, with ability to travel to office 2 days a week.
AK, AZ, CO, DE, FL, IL, MD, MN, NJ, NV, OH, PA, SC, VA, WA, WI, DC


Responsibilities
  • Write, generate and maintain Human Resource and Payroll reports and dashboards. Experience with calculated fields, matrix reports, composite reports required. Ability to review generated reports to validate accuracy and completeness from a business perspective. Recommend and deliver performance improvements related to Reporting workstream.
  • Configuration support in Workday areas of HCM, Advanced Comp, Time Tracking, Time Off, and Payroll.
  • Gather/document business requirements, analyzing current technology, data, and processes versus potential in order to create recommended solutions
  • Provide support for system upgrades, enhancements, testing (including creating, documenting and performing testing), validation and overall performance; analyze software releases to assess impact of new features.
  • Monitors the HRIS Support Desk and ensures tickets are being routed, customers are promptly responded to and issues resolved in a timely manner. Effectively communicate and respond to general HRIS inquiries. Provide customer service to associates, managers, payroll processors, and HR Business Partners.
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, implementation, upgrading applications to support of Annual programs, e.g. Benefits Open Enrollment, Merit Planning and Review, Annual Performance Reviews. Manage security administration including auditing assignment of roles and troubleshooting access issues.


Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Accounting, engineering, HR, IT, or business related
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR applications (SAP ECC, Workday, iCMS, Taleo, Ultimate), including 3 years’ experience in Workday. Must have experience in custom report writing and dashboards for Workday.
  • Strong understanding of time tracking, time off, and payroll reporting.
  • Experience with Workday configuration (Absence, Time Off, Time Tracking, Talent, Payroll).
  • Must be proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, formulas, pivot tables, graphing)
  • Ability to set up and choose key data to show in reporting including graphs and key data points.
  • Analytical and business planning skills
  • Ability to set priorities with organizational, multi-tasking and follow-up skills
  • Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience, able to present complex issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work remotely in a matrix-based organization. Onsite work required 2 days/week
  • Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones and computer work
  • Occasional carrying, overhead reaching and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various duties
  • Occasional immediate reaching to perform various office duties
  • Occasional standing for short amounts of time to perform various duties
  • Occasional walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
