Summary:
The Human Resource Specialist is responsible for all entering, filing, reports, and first point of contact for internal and external guest. Must be customer focus oriented, enter data accurately, process and manage sensitive and confidential matters.

Essential:

• Accurately enter data into the appropriate HRIS.
• Follow up to get any missing paperwork from employees.
• Perform clerical duties to create, maintain, update, and organize each employee’s files.
• Prepare reports relating to personnel activities (Active Employees, Wages, Terms, Performance Evaluations, etc.)
• Complete audits (IGB badge number and class, I9, job description, intercompany transfer, etc.) to ensure the organization is in compliance with federal and company guidelines and regulations
• Monitor the front desk, provide assistance to those individuals who come, or direct them to the appropriate personal while maintaining positive and friendly attitude.
• Answer incoming calls and determine the purpose of the calls and forward them to the appropriate HR personnel.
• Provide accurate information for employment verifications and return in a timely manner while following company guidelines.
• Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
• Assures an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
• Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
• Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by your manager, supervisor, or director.
• Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.

Required:

A sound understanding of and skill in several activities which involve a variety of practices and precedents or a basic understanding of the theory and principles of the discipline. Typically requires an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.

Schedule:
Full-time that varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends.

Salary:
Based on experience with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
