Summary of the Position:

The Recruiter manages the full cycle recruitment responsibilities for corporate and four remote sites. This includes exempt and non-exempt direct hire positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the staffing of new hires for corporate and four remote facilities (this includes recruitment strategy meetings with all managers to open a requisition. Reviews all resumes, utilizes internet job portals to pro-actively source pools of talent, schedules and conducts interviews, seeks feedback, and extends offers.) (30%)
  • Leads the recruiting efforts for Corporate direct hires, specific contract to regular and contract positions for all five locations. (15%)
  • Manages Plant & Distribution recruiting efforts. (15%)
  • Manages the Corporate Applicant Tracking System. (10%)
  • Responsible for the on-boarding process to ensure completeness and thoroughness. (10%)
  • Optimizes sourcing tools to provide most cost efficient hiring process (this includes management of alternative sourcing methods, posting jobs on external sourcing avenues, and provides assistance to remote locations). (5%)
  • Defines, communicates and executes with hiring managers, the overall recruitment plan for all direct hire, contract to regular and contract Corporate positions. (5%)
  • Defines, communicates and executes in conjunction with hiring managers, the overall sourcing strategy for all direct hire and specific contract to regular and contract Corporate positions. (5%)
  • Leads and directs Sourcing, Recruitment and Staffing to ensure the proper and timely fully staffed organization that is compliant with all legal requirements. (5%)
  • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
  • Aware and accountable in maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
  • Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
  • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience of related Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in full life cycle sourcing, recruiting and staffing utilizing both traditional and alternative sourcing, recruiting, and staffing methods.
  • Successful experience working with Applicant Tracking System desired.

  • Ability to make decisions and work independently.
  • Bilingual preferred.
