Local applicants Long term position. Male care givers are also encouraged to apply. Bellvue CO 5 min from Watson Lake.

3 days per week, 36 hrs.12 hrs shift 8.30 am to 8.30pm Sunday to Tuesday

$ 22/hr, Direct payroll deposit on 15th and last day of each month W2 provided.

Clean background check required.

The job is in Bellvue itself not the canyon, 5 minutes from Watson Lake.

* 1 patient (not 20+ patients)

* 3 days on (not 5 to save gas commuting), 4 days off

* No major holiday days worked

* After First year , 3 days paid vacation and yearly pay raise.

Care is for a 72 years old man with memory changes, Dementia/Alzheimer.

* Needs Help with medication, all ADL’s and Meal preparation, showering, toileting.

* The client ambulates on his own with the use of his 2 canes. We supervise his walking, and indoor bike exercise.

* Taking care of his pets, 1 dog and 1 cat

* House cleaning. Activities are but not limited to:

* . Driving patient using HIS vehicle to natural areas for a breath of fresh air. The client enjoys good conversation, laughter, although listens at a lot of music/comedy during daytime.

* The care giver should be able to engage with the client, have a good sense of humor.

* No grocery errands, No medical appointments as it is all taken care of.

The applicant should be

RELIABLE, punctual., compassionate, patient, ability to take initiative and have common sense, attention to details , interaction and maintaining the patient daily routine is required for the patients well being.

Be a team player.

Applicant needs to be physically fit in order to perform this job. Ability to do 12 hrs shifts, and ability to fully move, stand, bend down, kneel, extend etc. Good emotional health as memory care can be overwhelming at times.
