Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) sector is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
Roles and Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and administers security programs and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Maintains compliance with the US Government security regulations and directives. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Participates in internal and external security compliance assessment reviews and performs self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Provides security support to all cleared employees and approved visitors. Conducts new employee security briefings, annual security refresher briefings, derivative classification training, exit interviews, debriefings, investigating and reporting security violations and incident reports. Manage subcontracts to ensure security compliance with government regulations/requirements. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Maintains the Insider Threat Program and administer Insider Threat Training for the company.
Additional duties:
- Common Access Cards (CACs) administration. Responsible for the issuance and renewal of Common Access Cards (CACs) for employees as well as the retrieval of Common Access Cards (CACs) for termed employees and processing of paperwork and card for COR.
- Security clearance administration, to include requesting clearances for new hires, monitoring clearance dates for reinvestigations, and maintaining NATO original and yearly refresher briefs for all personnel.
- Training. Monitor training for all employees, generating overdue notices/emails to employees to complete training.
- NG Badges. Handle all requests for badges/pin resets for this area to include employees and remote workers for other NG contracts as needed. Order and issue badges as requested.
- DISS. Maintain all yearly Visit Requests for all employees. Complete all Visit Requests for exercises held at FTLV.
- Adverse Information. Maintain and report all adverse information from employees to include Garnishment reports from Corporate.
- New Hires. In process all new hires, to include gathering information/picture and have documents signed by employee to have program badges printed for new hires if they in-process locally this includes making appointments.
- Termed employees. Out process all employees, retrieve CAC and program badge/access card send messages for all access to be revoked. Remove employee info from VR spread sheet. Enter debrief info in SIMS for employees and send email to all employees with a pre-paid FedEx label to return program badge and CAC, update master CAC spread sheet.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 7 years of business or administrative experience.
- Candidate must have an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, and DoDM 5205 series, as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, physical, Information Security principles.
- Understanding and familiarity of DD-254 Implementation Requirements
- Demonstrated positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Proficient with DISS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
- Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
