Ink Technician – job description
- Facility located in Westport area
- Manufacture water base printing inks
- Follow batch instructions, make ink, perform QC testing, package/label/ ship orders
- Clean/maintain manufacturing and QC equipment
- Clean office, warehouse as needed
- Physically able to lift 50# bag or 50# five-gallon pail multiple times
- Physically able to use drum cart and move 55 gallons, 500# drum from vertical to
horizontal position
- Skills Required: Basic math, attention to detail, weighing accuracy, ability to print legibly, follow instructions both written and verbal; ability to learn and retain knowledge of production procedures and processes
- start $17/hr;, health insurance

- Covid vaccination with booster required – card documented
- masks required frequently in workplace
- Safety glasses, protective gloves and masks provided
- Pre-employment screening – a licensed 3rd party will administer comprehensive physical, drug/alcohol and color assessment testing to identify the candidate’s ability to perform the stated job functions
