Position Description:


As an Invoice Specialist, you will be responsible for uploading paperwork into our systems, validating paperwork for accuracy and communicating paperwork discrepancies with internal team members as well as our carrier partners. You will also help streamline Redwood Multimodal’s invoicing process by utilizing reports and overseeing issue resolution. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess good problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate accuracy of paperwork
  • Upload and enter paperwork into our systems
  • Communicate with carriers about missing and incorrect paperwork
  • Reduce Multimodal’s non-invoiced totals by categorically assigning responsibility, reviewing and following-up on outstanding problems, and resolving invoice holds.
  • Participate in customer-specific functions both, internal and external, that support the invoicing process
  • Perform other clerical/office work as needed, including but not limited to answering phone calls, operating general office equipment (computer, scanner, fax)

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs/timelines while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with both internal & external points of contact
