Travel Expectations: We anticipate that up to 25% travel to client sites will be needed to support projects.
- Work in a team environment to plan and complete technical audits and security studies.
- Lead technical engagements and successfully manage an engagement team when the engagement is focused on Information Security.
- Coach staff on technology risk management, available standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular small group training sessions on tools, emerging technology, and security risks.
- Develop, review, distribute, and present project status and project deliverables.
- Communicate technical matters (findings and recommendations) to senior leadership and clients in a way that is understood.
- Assist with monitoring and tracking project action items, issues, risks, and decisions.
- Develop project issues and risk memos as needed.
- Be responsible for the technical components of engagements and work to support the designated project lead with understanding and communicating technical matters to clients.
- Manage and build strong relationships with client contacts and project team members
- Ensure that all day-today audit milestones, such as workpapers, tests of controls, and report preparation is completed to audit standards and to needed timeline.
- Knowledge and experience in Server and Network configurations
- Demonstrated ability to manage the day-to-day activities of project team including making assignments and maintaining control over assignments, schedule, and performance of the project team members
- Demonstrated proactive problem management skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail with specific experience developing, editing, and presenting summaries, reports, and complex information and data
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
- Experience in building reports and workpapers that meet professional standards
- Knowledge of and experience with IT Audits, Security standards and frameworks, and IT security best practices and be aware of emerging technology and security risks
- Experience writing detailed descriptions of systems, business memos, and other deliverables for clients and/or management
- Experience in coaching staff and interns and providing supportive, but direct feedback on performance and workpaper quality.
- Comfort and experience with presentations skills and with interacting with clients as a point of contact for day-to-day communications.
