The IT Asset Management Analyst is a key role in Koch’s Global Procurement organization. But what is “Asset Management”? Software Asset Management is the right blend of people, processes, and technology to allow software licenses and usage to be tracked, evaluated, and managed. Our goal is to reduce IT expenditures and compliance risks that are inherent in owning and managing software assets all while innovating and transforming the consumer experience.

To achieve this goal our team must be innovative, focused on the consumer and the customer, and focused on the long-term value for Koch. Now more than ever, we need motivated team members in the Software Asset Management space who are passionate about challenging the status quo and comfortable working with leaders across the organization.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Analyze license usage and software deployed through the organization
• Develop proactive measures to identify opportunities for savings or process improvements as it relates to renewals, software licensing, and procurement services while ensuring compliant software positions
• Collaborate and build trusted relationships with customers at all levels through various communication channels to provide information and drive change in business processes
• Provide software licensing support to customers and business partners
• Review software deployment requirements for both US and Non-US and adjust internal processes when needed
• Promote the importance and value of a strong software asset management capability to business leaders
• Address software use rights questions through collaboration with customers and vendors
• Provide support for projects and 3rd party audit activities
• Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across the enterprise

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience leading and/or participating in software audits.
• Participation in enterprise agreement true-up activities.
• Participation in IT road mapping discussions.
• Experience utilizing ServiceNow CMDB, Software Asset Management, Discovery, and Contracts modules.
• Basic Knowledge of server licensing requirements and key data terms (physical vs virtual, CPU processors and cores).
• Demonstrated understanding of licensing and subscription models
