Job Description:

*This is a remote position; however, this role may require travel to one of our hospitals or clinics for major project milestone events, meetings, or implement ations . Preferred candidates who reside in the Atlanta, Phoenix/Chandler, Chicago/Zion location area

The Project Manager plans, executes, and closes projects according to scope, deadlines and budgets. This includes coordination of resources and efforts of project team members, third party contractors, and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. This role also defines the project's objectives and provides oversight of quality control throughout its life cycle. He/she completes and documents the project management deliverables including, but not limited to project proposal, project charter, resource requirements, budget requirements, project plan, status reports, changes / risks / issues log, and lessons learned. Manages IT Technology and Security projects.

Skills, Education and Additional Information:
  • Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management in an Information Technology environment
  • 3 years of healthcare experience with work experience in an IT PMO setting
  • Project management experience in implementation of technology, security, and business healthcare solutions

  • Prefer PMI Project Management Professional certification (or equivalent Industry certification); Agile/Certified Scrum Master is a secondary preference
  • Formal experience using Microsoft Project is required. A plus would be Microsoft BI for reporting
  • CSM certification are a plus

Additional Experience and Skill Sets
  • Proficient in IT Project Management methodologies and experience modifying those methodologies to fit the needs of an organization and/or project within a healthcare setting
  • Works diligently to keep projects on track, in scope, and within budgetary guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple mid-size to large projects with aggressive timelines
  • Ability to work across geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and vendor teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, in both technical and business context as related to the project
  • Robust skills in collaboration and team building
  • Expert experience utilizing MS Project and MS collaboration tools for project management required
  • Must have the ability to convey technological concepts that satisfy project delivery and business requirements

Pay Range
$85,309.53 - $140,431.20

Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual's status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
