We need a talented individual to fill the potential role of Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Business Analyst in support of a client. In this position, the selected individual will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating software development and system modernization activities in a state-wide implementation effort. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide superior project support and oversight of State government software development projects.
• Monitor Scrum teams to ensure software development projects are executed properly.
• Provide oversight of software development activities related to enhancements and maintenance of enterprise software and make recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations related to the project to client leadership.
• Provide insight on key Agile Discovery, Sprint, and Release activities.
• Monitor projects for risks and issues and report those to the client.
• Support and contribute to written weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.

• We’re looking for someone who has strong people skills, strong presentation skills, and is clear and concise.
• Can apply advanced thinking to problems with encouragement and support.
• Proactively conduct research into identified client problems.
• Engages in some strategic discussions with guidance from others; viewed as positively contributing to their team as a knowledgeable team member.
• Candidates should have good written and oral presentation skills.
• Great candidates will be excited about their work as a consultant.
• The best candidates will be able to present ideas in a clear and simple way.
• The ideal candidates should be ready to work closely with our client’s team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a software development environment fulfilling one of the following areas: program and process improvement or business analysis.
• Minimum two (2) years working in an Agile SDLC environment (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programing, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience providing consulting services to a government client or agency.
• Experience in Independent Verification and Validation consulting.
• Experience with enterprise software transformation or modernization.
