GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

At Speerhead Beyond, a job coach is responsible for providing exceptional, hands-on vocational training to individuals with special needs. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks and responsibilities all helping high school students gain work experience skills. THIS POSITION IS FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to the Administrative Assistant to the Director.

AVAILABILITY

• Part-time position
• Work Schedule: TBD; Monday-Friday (subject to change) - During School Hours
• STARTS Monday, November 14th
• Available to work flexible hours

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uphold Speerhead Beyond’s mission, vision, and values
• Instruct individuals on how to best perform job-related tasks.
• Monitor and track individual’s performance as related to goals.
• Devise effective instructional techniques; Collaborate with team to do so.
• Maintain and enter information into databases and paper forms.
• Manage important deadlines.
• Track and reconcile customer timesheets.
• Record information and take photos.
• Collaborate with other job coaches and internal teams
• Coordinate efficient and organized submission of time-sensitive documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, school districts, parents and local business contacts.
• Keep track of incoming calls, voicemails, emails, and messages and return them in a timely manner
• Operate and maintain personal office equipment including but not limited to: computer and printer.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school or equivalent (Required); Associate's Degree preferred.
• UNTWISE Job Skills Trainer Credential (short, online)
