Job description
Seeking a Jr. Construction Scheduler. Duties include developing and managing schedules for Construction projects. The Scheduler will manage the construction master file from planning through execution. This includes progressing and producing look-aheads and reporting out of Primavera. This position would also ensure that all Construction team members adhere to the Scheduling Standards.
- Manage assigned construction plans and add to Primavera Master Schedule
- Oversee the assigned Primavera file to assure that items are not added or removed after baseline without proper paperwork
- Assure that all coding is correct in the Primavera schedules based on Standard Practices
- Maintain updates to schedule as job cards are submitted from Construction team
- Attend overall Logic reviews with Construction to finalize logic
- Manage the effort of manpower levelling and producing histograms to develop manpower plans for Construction
- Entering progress updates for Construction
- Interfacing with Project Controls for estimate development and reviews
- Produce and distribute weekly schedules, weekly progress/curves/bar charts and any other requested reports from P6
- Interface with numerous planners to assure that their plans are per Standard Practices
- Produce historical data and share with Construction team during close out
- Mentor and troubleshoot schedule logic and coding problems for users
- Degree: Bachelors in Construction Management, Engineering, Planning & Scheduling or an equivalent field preferred
- Computer Proficiencies: Primavera experience required. Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel/Access Experience).
- Experience Preferred: Minimum of three years of experience in executing, contracting, planning and scheduling projects work preferred
