Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated team member who enjoys working at a fast paced facility. We are a pet hotel, full time veterinary and grooming facility. Large boarding facility with nice, friendly family dogs. Daily handling of large and small dogs required. This position requires a strong work ethic, a genuine love of animals and a friendly personality. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for cleaning the kennel as well as assisting with feeding and walking animals. The Kennel Assistant is expected to be available for overtime as needed to fulfill the needs of the veterinary team and maintain a state-of-the-art pet care facility.

Responsibilities:

• Feed animals in a timely manner.
• Feed animals according to their dietary needs.
• Clean out animal cages when needed.
• Pick up animal waste in a timely manner.
• Be aware of potential dangers to animals and humans in the area.
• Walking dogs
• Washing dishes
• Janitorial duties such as laundry, sweeping/mopping etc.

Applicant MUST:

• Be at least 18yrs old and up
• Be physically fit (MUST be able to lift over 50 lbs)

• Be proactive & dependable

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
