The Lodge for Pampered Pets is in search of a passionate- animal loving person to join our team. The Lodge specializes in offering premiere boarding and daycare, also offering small pet boarding (pocket pets including but not limited to; rats, mice, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc.), cat boarding, training and grooming. We are looking to hire 1 full time and 1 part time employee. Please do not contact the office directly.

Job responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Providing a fun safe environment for guests
• Ensuring safety of guests by following facility policies
• Bathing/nail trims
• Always being punctual and willing to learn
• Feeding/medicating dogs on pre-set schedule
• Cleaning and sanitizing fecal and urine accidents
• Managing play groups and one-on-one playtime with guests

We provide training to learn the skills needed to provide premiere care to our guests.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a background check
• Availability to work 3-7pm shift Monday-Saturdays & 2-7 on Sundays
• 2 Weekends per month (Sat 6:30-12 and/or 3-7pm & Sun 6:30-12 and/or 2-7pm) & Holiday availability is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

• Metamora, MI 48455: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pet care: 1 year (Preferred)
• Animal handling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Animal care at reputable licensed boarding/daycare facility: 1 year (Preferred)
• Kennel experience at a licensed boarding/daycare facility: 1 year (Preferred)
