Job Description: The Kitchen Manager is the leader of all BOH and kitchen operations. They should have strong leadership and communication skills and be willing to share their positive, can-do attitude with their staff through training and mentorship. He/She will continually strive to execute the menu with consistency and efficiency through implementing the restaurant’s policies, procedures, and sanitation best practices. The Kitchen Manager should take pride in consistently serving the highest quality, freshest, safest food in a timely manner to our customers.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast paced, full service kitchen.
- Clearly and accurately communicate both orally and through writing with other team members and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Have a management skill set to deal with multiple vendors, costs, pricing, schedules, and implementation and creation of policies and procedures for BOH staff to follow.
- Highly organized - create, implement and follow schedules, training guides, par levels, cleaning schedules, etc.
- Detail oriented - consistently execute fresh, colorful plates adhering to menu specifications standards, costs, and safety
- Quick thinking and problem solving - come up with solutions to customer issues, employee conflicts, equipment malfunctions on the fly.
- Leadership - do what you say, rally your team through times of heavy business, motivate your team through the slow times to continue to get the job done. Create a positive work environment for the restaurant.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
