Berlitz has an exciting opportunity for subject matter experts to deliver programs for our clients.

We are seeking individuals to conduct 4-day regional-specific training programs in 2020. The program will be 4 days in length and will cover up to 10 countries depending on the region.

We need experts to be able to teach courses on the Korean Peninsula.

The candidate must be able to design an interactive curriculum, which includes videos, case studies, and relevant activities, that will focus on the following information:

Training must include:

Current events and trends that affect the country/region today

Geopolitical information

Geography – important information connected to geographical data, such as population density, demographic characteristics, and annual precipitation patterns

History and culture

Government model and processes

Indigenous, ethnic, and religious groups

Urban and rural geography

Transportation and infrastructure

Economy

Natural resources

Other topics as applicable: Immigration and migration; civil war and regional/international conflict; nuclear proliferation; labor relations; country’s relationship with the USA.


The successful candidates will have the following credentials:

Must be a US Citizen and have an excellent command of the English language

A minimum of a master’s degree plus 30 semester hours in a relevant field of study from an accredited academic institution

A minimum of three (3) years of experience instructing adult learners to include academic settings as well as professional settings such as government agencies or offices

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field, countries for which they are delivering instruction

  • Experience can be associated with teaching in academia, living or working with the region or serving as an analytic subject matter expert for the region.

Previous experience as an analyst, military service or government agency is desirable.


The selected candidates may reside anywhere in the US but must be willing to travel to designated locations to provide the content. Training program delivery, design and development hours and travel expenses will be paid per engagement.
