We are seeking experienced an experienced Landscape Architect for the Landscape Coordinator position within the Architectural Review Board (ARB). The Landscape Coordinator is responsible for reviewing site-related elements of new homes and improvements for Kiawah Partners to ensure compliance with the ARB Standards and Guidelines, Designing with Nature.

Major Responsibilities of this position include:

New Home Reviews -

• Site Analysis
• Board meeting preparation, review and follow up correspondence
• Stake-out reviews
• Final landscape plan reviews

Site Reviews –

• Existing home hardscape and landscape improvements
• Grading issues
• Tree Removals
• View Pruning
• Boardwalks
• Bulkheads
• Tree protection fencing
• Analyze architectural improvements and site impact
• Final inspections of completed improvements or homes
• Dune Pruning

Communication with Property Owners, Design teams, and Construction Professionals

Community Liaison –

• KINHC Environmental Science Committee
• TOKI Environmental Committee

Experience & Education

• Landscape Design/Architecture Degree
• 1 to 2 years Experience
• Knowledge of Adobe, CAD a plus
• Strong skills in written and verbal communication
• Must be organized and have excellent time-management, conflict-management, and multi-tasking skills
