LANDSCAPE/HARDSCAPE INSTALLATION CREW LEADER

Join a dynamic, fast-growing team looking to expand our workforce and customer base. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, high-energy individual to lead a team of 2-3 landscaping crew members. Crew Leaders install custom landscape designs at residential and commercial properties including plants, trees, shrubs, sod, mulch and more. Must be able to operate a variety of lawn and landscape equipment, including a skid steer and other heavy duty landscaping equipment, and must be able to drive a truck and trailer. The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable of plant materials, horticultural practices, and irrigation.

2+ years’ experience managing landscaping crews

Experience driving a truck and trailer
Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
Strong time management skills
Desire to lead and train crew members
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Daily Responsibilities:
Ensure you and your crew members follow safety protocols.
Perform landscape installations following design plan with a variety of plants, sod, mulch, rock and other landscaping materials.
Perform other landscaping maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, fertilizer applications, pruning and clean up.
Achieve budgeted timelines for each project, ensuring crew dispatches on time, with proper equipment, tools and materials.
Operate power equipment including various sized power mowers, gas-powered edger/trimmers, gas-powered weed eater, gas-powered backpack blower, hedge trimmers, pole saws and chain saws.
Maintain irrigation systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
Professional and effective communication with crew members, customers and management.
Position requires physical activity and heavy lifting including unloading trucks and moving plants and material up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $850.00 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
