Utilize Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) to design, develop, and implement customized business intelligence solutions for clients. Communicate with clients in order to gather their business requirements. Analyze clients’ existing software applications and systems in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of their capabilities and limitations. Leverage the collected information to create a desired list of product features and set project scope, goals, and timelines. Lead efforts to translate product features into functional and technical specifications, leveraging knowledge of database programming languages such as SQL and PL/SQL, shell scripts such as Unix and Linux, and business intelligence software such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications and Informatica. Utilize Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica and Data Warehouse Application Console (DAC) to customize Oracle BI applications. Modify OBIEE 11g/12C user interface objects such as reports, dashboards, and BI workflows to meet each client’s business needs. Utilize knowledge of Data and Dimensional Modelling to design Data and Dimension Models as per OBIA design requirements. Oversee the implementation of customized OBIA and OBIEE products into clients’ existing software systems, ensuring that the integration is secure and seamless. Oversee all technical design activities throughout the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, testing and maintenance. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and create software guides for OBIA products. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances in order to continuously evaluate clients’ applications and enhance their functionality as needs evolve.

Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with computer-related coursework plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related position. This may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with computer-related coursework plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. The position requires skills and knowledge in Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g / 12C, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica, Data Warehouse Application Console (DAC), Oracle Data Integrator, Unix, Linux, Data And Dimensional Modelling. Limited Travel – 25% – 49% of the time. Occurs on a weekly basis 2 days/week totaling about 13 weeks – 26 weeks per year.

Salary: $118,450.00 per year 40 hours/week
