With three different dining options at Wintergreen Resort, our culinary program offers various culinary training styles. From farm to table fine dining to pub food Wintergreen caters to all cooking styles. As an experienced cook, you will prepare high-quality food for casual dining experience, including but not limited to slicing, dicing, trimming, sautéing, frying, baking, filleting, steaming, cleaning, roasting, trussing and stuffing. On the job training is provided.
LINE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES';
Will be to assist current kitchen staff members in daily food preparation and production of meals. Setting and maintaining food production line in accordance with current kitchen standards and practices, as well as the execution of allotted meals in a timely manner in keeping with kitchen standards and practices. Work as part of the kitchen team under the direction of the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Chef de Parties to ensure the demands of the kitchen are met. Work to ensure that all guests' needs are being met in accordance to the highest standards. You also must be able to work rotating evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a full-time position that includes a competitive hourly pay rate, shares in the operation's tips and is eligible for full-time benefits.
