Job description

We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Liquids Department. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Works closely with scheduler to verify ingredients required to support for the liquid coffee division
  • Performs clerical responsibilities for the liquid division to include scanning documents, saving and organizing electronic documents, filing and organizing all hardcopy documentation from production, quality assurance and shipping/receiving for the department.
  • Designs and completes spreadsheets for various applications for the liquid division.
  • Responsible for all shipping and receiving functions for the liquid division to include preparation of BOL and shipping documentation
  • Responsible for picking finished goods, entering data into AS400, and confirming all orders for the liquid division.
  • Print labels as required by individual customers based on instruction from various recipes
  • Acts as liaison between various departments for the liquid division to include: purchasing, accounting, transportation, order processing, IT, Product Development, quality assurance and sales
  • Responsible for cycle counts for the liquid division while working with accounting to perform period end inventory
  • Ships samples from all production to ABC research lab for micro testing. Monitors progress through the ABC website and request approval for shipment release from the QA Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Excellent computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel and AS400
  • Good data entry skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels, including with employees, customers and suppliers
  • Detailed oriented
  • Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified
  • Basic RF scanner experience
  • Able to work in physically demanding conditions
  • Associate Degree and 2+ years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
