POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics Manager is accountable for shipment and logistical operation of the Aftermarket business. The Logistics Manager will support all customer and consumer Aftermarket fulfillment and play an essential part in building a sustainable process for all business units with the Jacuzzi Group Worldwide Umbrella.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct in depth logistical analysis around mode and carrier selection, product placement and sequencing in order to improve service and drive down freight costs.
  • Identify opportunities, develop concepts and implement solutions to reduce non-value added activities and cost.
  • Stay up to date on the transportation and logistics market including fuel prices, capacity and developments which could impact the Jacuzzi global business.
  • Proactively take action to mitigate risk and advise senior management accordingly.
  • Review logistics spend and customer freight charges to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Review carrier and vendor selection to ensure compliance with logistics strategy.
  • Lead rate rationalization, bid and negotiation process.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with carriers and vendors.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other internal stakeholders on the establishment and improvement of transportation programs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Program Management required; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of related work experience may substitute education requirement

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams - written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of strong data analysis and metric reporting.
  • 5+ years use of Data Analytics tools in support of manufacturing/operational business.
  • In-depth experience of managing significant operating and capex budgets

WORK PLACE CONDITIONS

The employee will frequently use a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and viewing a computer screen. Employee will be required to sit/stand for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen. Employee may work in manufacturing environment at which time PPE will be required. Expected travel 25%

Pay: $113,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
