POSITION OVERVIEW

Perform the duties required to assemble machines and ensure they are operating in compliance with quality and safety standards.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

1. Assemble machines using setup sheets, electrical schematics and blueprints.

2. Complete wiring panels and on machines using line or point-to-point diagrams.

3. Fabricate wires and cables from raw material.

4. Mechanically align machines using indicators or lasers.

5. Operate machines to test electrical and mechanical functionality.

6. Complete testing of new parts and machines with the assistance of research and development.

7. Use multi-meter to troubleshoot problems.

8. Use PC for programming machines and looking up information in Oracle.

9. Maintain ESD Standards while working on machines.

10. Complete preparation of machine for shipment to include strapping parts, accessories and diagrams in place.

11. Pack machine using overhead hoist and fork truck.

12. Enter daily time in Oracle.

13. Label, organize and locate machine specific inventory.

14. Clean floor and area to ensure compliance with safety standards.

15. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Job requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computers.

Experience: 3+ years in similar manufacturing or maintenance role.

Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:

1. Ability to read, write and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.

2. Ability to work with little direct supervision.

3. Ability to deal with problems involving standardized situations.

4. Ability to communicate and work with others.

5. Ability to lift 50 pounds of product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
