Job description

Olivet College is accepting applications for a Mailroom Services Coordinator. This is a part-time hourly position with occasional overtime, as required. This position reports to the College Store/Mailroom Manager and has primary responsibility for receiving, organizing and delivering college mail.

REPONSIBILITIES*

• Ensures the timely delivery and posting of incoming and outgoing mail.
• Checks all incoming freight and mail for damages.
• Ensures that student and departmental mail and packages are properly handled and delivered.
• Coordinates bulk mailings and sends/receives specialty mailings (i.e., Fed Ex, UPS).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Perform duties in a diverse, challenging, and fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS*
Required: High school diploma. Must be cleared to drive college vehicles. Must be able to lift heavy packages.
Preferred: College courses and/or knowledge of United States Postal Service and bulk mail procedures; previous postal operations or similar experience a plus.

Hourly Rate: $15.00
