Job Description
Primary Location:
Ogden, Utah
Directs and coordinates the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and minor plant facilities and support systems in beverage production plant by performing personally or thru subordinates the following duties.
Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for all production line and associated plant support equipment.
- Sets standards for equipment reliability and performance.
- Tracks and analyzes equipment reliability and efficiency against established standards.
- Maintains equipment performance records, which include reliability and downtime reports.
- Forecasts equipment replacement and major modification schedules based on equipment performance and reliability.
- Establishes or adjusts work schedules and procedures to meet production schedules and resource constraints.
- Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of equipment, department, or work crews.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities of individual department’s equipment.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.
- Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
- Completes all required Food Safety and GMP training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
