General Summary:
The Manager, Capital Markets executes structured finance transactions focusing on loan and lease ABS. This position monitors and evaluates the conditions of the credit markets and makes strategic recommendations to the unit lead for optimal transaction execution and manages the negotiation and close of these facilities. In addition to
execution, this position manages all aspects of ongoing reporting and compliance for these funding channels. The Manager owns bank relationships and actively participates in investor relations efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, execute and oversee compliance/reporting for structured finance transactions (ABS).
- Monitor outstanding deal performance and analyze performance trends for bank and investor management.
- Research structural alternatives and understand market trends to ensure continued optimization of platforms based on current market conditions and funding needs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned which may include cross functional duties across other areas in the Treasury department.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Capital Markets knowledge and securitization experience is required
- In depth knowledge of finance concepts and cash flow modeling
- Working experience with rating agencies, underwriters, legal counsel and audit firms required
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite user with excel proficiency and pivot tables required
- Database management and working querying knowledge of SQL or SAS required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a highly time-sensitive and dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary
- Strong team mentality and desire to mentor others
- Solid work ethic and dedication to excellence
- 6+ years of related experience
- Minimum of 3 years Treasury/Debt Capital Market experience required
- Minimum of 4 years auto finance experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance required
- MBA or CFA preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Condition:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
