Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of EVS, guides and manages the Education function within the EVS Department on a 24-hour basis, within the frame work of Hospital and EVS Department policies. Supervises and assists in coordinating Environmental Services with the purpose of planning, development and implementation of programs and practices in support of the EVS and support services operation. Responsible for assisting in implementing, tracking, and development of department budget. Assists Director in plans, organizes and develops effective work plans and determines effective workflow. Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures while striving to provide the highest degree of service to our customers. Must be self-motivated and exercise independent judgment. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications [Required] Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) years experience in Environmental Services or similar experience in staff development and education programs. Understanding of Title 22 regulations, TJC standards and knowledgeable in performance improvement.
