The Manager of Food Services manages and assumes responsibility for personnel in the Nutrition Services department; seeing all duties are completed in a satisfactory manner. Provides leadership to all aspects of the department including program planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of comprehensive nutritional care and services for all patients, staff and guests. The Manager of Food Services manages and assumes responsibility for personnel in the Nutrition Services department; seeing all duties are completed in a satisfactory manner. Provides leadership to all aspects of the department including program planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of comprehensive nutritional care and services for all patients, staff and guests. Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives and reports progress to leadership.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Associate Degree or an additional three years of food industry/related experience required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in food service industry or related experience required.
- Three years leadership experience in healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Strong written and oral communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Strong Computer skills;experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Executive Chef training or Registered Dietitian, preferred.
- Experience with Food Service Operations database and Dietetic software, preferred.
- Food Service Safe Certification, preferred.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
