SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Nurses who have graduated from a college level nursing program and have passed a national licensing exam.
COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: Assistant Vice Presidents; Directors; Chief of Staff; Patient Safety Officer; Patient Relations and Consumer Services; Pastoral Care; Clinical Nurses; Chief and Senior Residents; Administrators-On-Call
TITLES SUPERVISED: Nursing Resource Clerk
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide leadership and to coordinate Cincinnati Children's operational activities during off-shifts; weekends and holidays; to co-lead organizational situation awareness activities/oversight 24/7; to supervise the patient placement process. To plan; direct; organize; control and improve functions of the Patient Services functions in order to meet the fiscal; patient care; research and teaching needs of a Medical Center dedicated to the care of infants; children and adolescents.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Current RN license to practice in the state
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master's of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Five years of related nursing experience
