Overview:
Lead and facilitate all campus operations to include EMS protocols, health desk protocols, campus closing procedures, and be in direct contact with the National Campus leadership team. This position is designated as "on-site" and requires the employee to be at the office site to complete the required tasks associated with the position.
Responsibilities:

  • Be visible, be the face of the National Campus
  • In emergency situations, assume the lead role and act quickly to work with the National Campus Medical Team (Andrews Institute) and delegate responsibilities to fellow employees to facilitate a smooth medical event.
  • Delegate appropriate responsibilities for AED, 911 calls, etc.
  • Repurpose Campus Team (ex. Placement to team members to receive EMS)
  • Contact the Medical team for immediate response
  • Make sure the area is safe.
  • ICE, Wheelchair or Calling of significant other
  • Complete and review Incident Report and review with the Legal department to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with senior leadership on any items or concerns related to their areas
  • Thor Guard App- monitor and plan accordingly for weather issues throughout the shift
  • Work with the Pro team and Front Desk team to make the final decision if the campus should be closed due to weather or extenuating circumstances. Use sound judgment to assess the situation at the moment and how it will be in the future hours.
  • Ensure National Campus is in compliance with the USTA policies, procedures, and training (Active Shooter, Bomb threat, Fire Drills, and best practices)
  • Support Events team with set-up and breakdown for tournaments and events (signage, tents, tables, stanchions) as needed
  • Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure the campus is locked and secure
  • Proactively check-in and communicate with all areas of the National Campus (Front desk, courts and grounds, medical, Netpost, Pro Shop, Player Development, and Lodge)
Qualifications:
  • Evenings and weekends are required (5 PM – 9:30 PM ON WEEKDAYS AND 7 AM – 1 PM and/or 1 PM - 6 PM ON WEEKENDS) up to 25 hours per week.
  • Proven track record exhibiting sound judgment in making key decisions and acting responsibly during emergency situations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in communicating with guests of all ages and abilities.
  • CPR& AED certification preferred.
  • Management experience is preferred and a proven track record with problem-solving and customer service to ensure all operations run smoothly.
  • Knowledge of tennis is a plus although not required.
  • This position is designated as "on-site" and requires the employee to be at the office site to complete the required tasks associated with the position.
  • Position is considered exempt.
  • Pay range in the United States
    Base salary
    $400/week
