Manufacturing Associate II- Clean Room

Our Seguin, TX location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate I to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent problem-solving and communication skills in a manufacturing environment.

THE POSITION

• Operates production equipment and processes.
• Follow established production and quality procedures.
• Participate in the team’s daily start-up communications meeting, assigns work, and establishes job rotation.
• Maintain personal OJT training documentation.
• Follow defined Standard Work and provide input for improvement
• Performs cell audits and inspections and follow-up on abnormalities.

• Perform high complex quality inspections using different technologies like electronic magnifier, high resolution microscopes, digital weight scale, etc.

• Perform high complex quality test using different computer softwares and programs to collect data

• Apply specific quality protocols and reactions when identifying abnormalities or product defects

• Ensures individual compliance to established policies and procedures.
• Determine and judge if operating conditions become abnormal.
• Associates will be capable of performing complete high complex preventative maintenance routines utilizing established checklists , work instructions and troubleshooting guides designed to return the equipment to the original state.
• Actively participates in the completion of required preventative maintenance activities, learn from technicians and process engineers how to maintain and recover the different manufacturing equipment.
• Actively preserve normal conditions of equipment and/or processes
• Performs first response troubleshooting and first line maintenance activities during line down situations.
• Respond quickly to abnormalities by repairing the machine or having a technician take care of it when he/she does not have enough knowledge, skill, or resources.
• Ensures team achieves daily 5S+1, Quality, Delivery, Kaizen, and Cost goals

• Understand and meet Clean Room 5S Standards and Cleanliness rules and protocols

• Check all other meets Clean Room 5S Standards and Cleanliness rules and protocols

• Employs various problem-solving techniques (5 Why, 8 D, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) to drive problems to permanent corrective action.
• Participates in teams Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement within the work cell.

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Required to work a 12-hour work schedule
• Ability to lift 28 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours. Must be able to Push, pull (racks), Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
