This entry level position is for a Manufacturing Engineer Associate supporting the Production Operations organization in Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS).
The selected candidate will:

• Develop and maintain production plans based on program milestones.
• Be Responsible for updating and creating assembly work instructions based on the drawings and/or models
• Incorporate Engineering Change Notices in production orders and material routers
• Support the Quality team in the investigation of failures and helps implement corrective action
• Investigate technical problems and provide guidance in support of manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance
• Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields
• Actively engages in Operations Excellence Teams and implements Lean principles and technologies
• Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions
• Participates in program stand-up meetings

• Familiarity with analyzing engineering drawings
• Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience in creating assembly work instructions
• Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes, Routings, Bills of material) or a related manufacturing system

• Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results
• Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education.
