As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing manufacturing operations. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address manufacturing issues.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of process instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to improve component quality and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, welding, and material handling.
  • Proficiency in process improvement tools and methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and designing manufacturing layouts is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and presenting recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
