This is a 1st Shift Opening. Hours are typically from 8AM to 4PM, Monday - Friday. Some overtime may be needed occasionally.
The pay for this position is $21.96 to $23.70 an hour.
The Weaving Scheduler plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
The Weaving Scheduler will schedule Entering Dept to draw patterns based on priorities of customer orders and commitments Schedule looms by adding styles, speed, & efficiency to the Loom Sheet, using the optimum loom type. The Scheduler will also maintain Schedule for each loom in BARCO plan board, work with Kanban system to control flow of materials from looms to Carmelizer. Additional responsibilities include assisting manufacturing with special projects and continuous improvement opportunities, input data and other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (some college credits preferred)
- Computer literate in AS 400, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CIM, Inspection Client & Monarch
- Must have a good knowledge of machine capabilities in Weaving
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Serve as an On-the-Job Instructor; Periodically train others to perform job.
- Must have at least 24 months experience as a Scheduler
- Exceptional communication skills
