Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

§ Uphold company policy and procedure

§ Accountable for the day to day operations of assigned area

§ Responsible to hold safety meetings on a monthly basis

§ Responsible to hold pre-shift meetings on a daily basis

§ Responsible for the achievement of daily production requirements

§ Responsible for holding employees accountable for attendance and behavior which violates company policy

§ Responsible to coach and mentor employees regarding expected behavior when necessary

§ Responsible for the training of new employees

§ Responsible for the completion of training checklists according to ISO standards

§ Responsible for the completion of Talent Management Reviews for hourly employees

§ Encourage training to promote employee development

§ Accountable for employees working in the production area, inc. safety

§ Responsible for the communication of news, changes, and any other pertinent information to the crew, all communications must be positive and timely

§ Communicate any employee issues with Area Manager and/or Human Resources when appropriate

§ Responsible for the documentation of employee relation issues and complaints

§ Responsible for orderliness and cleanliness of work areas

§ Responsible for compliance with all Federal and State labor laws

§ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

§ Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

§ General knowledge of production processes

§ 2-5 years leadership experience preferred

Personal Trait Profile:

§ Proficient in Microsoft office and database management

§ Ability to provide oral and written communication to all levels of employees within the company

§ Ability to recognize poor production practices and defects and implement appropriate changes

§ Ability to practice of a high level of confidentiality

§ Ability to objectively coach employees on behavioral issues

§ Ability to reach above shoulders, squat, bend, and kneel occasionally

§ Visual acuity up to five feet

§ Ability to walk up to 1000 feet regularly

§ Ability to climb stairs occasionally

§ Ability to organize and prioritize work

• 10 hour shift
