POSITION OVERVIEW:

This individual will provide support for the marketing department and liaise with other areas of the company in the administration, development, production, and distribution of marketing collateral and communications to accurately reflect the Valtir brand. In this role, the marketing assistant will perform administrative and creative tasks such as compiling and analyzing reports, maintain databases, update website, social media accounts, and other content, design print and digital campaigns, and assist with the cross-functional execution of the communications strategy.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in updating content and copy for all consumer-facing platforms
• Design and distribute internal and external email communications
• Compiling and distributing various reports including industry association membership database, tradeshow and events tracking, email campaign reports, and search engine analytics.
• Create content for social media accounts and monitor and track activity.
• Assist with customer and distributer requests for Valtir images and other materials, and access to our online training platforms
• Assist with editing marketing collateral, videos, and website content
• Assist with organizing and attending promotional activities, presentations and events
• Assist with executing marketing campaigns and reporting results
• Assistance with administrative duties, records maintenance, and generating reports
• Product Image & Digital Assets Library Maintenance
• Tradeshow Materials Maintenance & Shipment Coordination

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

· Bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Sports Marketing, Graphics Design or related field

· Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.

· Entry level, recent college graduate, or 1- 5 years’ related experience in either marketing or graphics design, tradeshows or events promotion.

· Advanced IT and computer skills and creative software to design visual content – including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PDF), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

· Experience in SharePoint Online, Graphic design, video editing Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, other CRMs, SEO, WordPress a plus

· Strong Graphics Design Capabilities

· Some understanding of Digital Advertising | Google Analytics, Google Business Listings, Google AdWords, and SEO

· Experience with Email and Social Media Marketing

· Understanding of Website Editing (in HTML) a plus

· Excellent team player and Adaptability

· Creative skills, including writing, design Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· A high level of attention to detail.

· Ability to work late when deadlines are approaching, or attend events on weekends or outside of working hours.

· Passion for technology

· Effective project management skills; ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines; shift priorities on short notice, and multi-task

· Self-motivated, confident, energetic, detail oriented, helpful, and creative

· Ability to lift/transport tradeshow booths that weigh 50+ lbs.

TRAVEL:
Up to 20% may be required

This is a direct hire role with Valtir in Addison, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
