Marketing Specialist - (Fully Remote Opportunity)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Specialist aligns marketing initiatives with client strategy and lead generation goals to drive enrollments for our university partners. The ideal candidate will be a confident written and verbal communicator with a passion for data-driven marketing and the ability to work across a talented cross-functional team to execute campaigns. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Marketing Services, Student Success and Partnership teams to define student experience initiatives
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with the development of marketing plans, project management, client presentations and reporting.
  • Support the ongoing optimization of marketing assets including Website SEO, Landing Pages, Paid Advertising and Content.
  • A/B testing and reporting of email campaigns in Marketo
  • A/B testing and reporting of SMS campaigns in Salesforce
  • Partner with Enrollment Teams to support Salesforce email, SMS, and other communications needs.
  • Gather feedback from Partnership and Student Success Teams on a regular basis to constantly improve marketing performance
  • Input job requests with speed and accuracy and work with cross-functional teams to execute and ensure on-time completion.
  • Review all creative to confirm it meets brand standards and act as an internal QA resource when needed.
  • Compile creative for Stakeholder review as well as Vendor/Agency relations
  • Make adjustments to Wordpress Site as needed
  • Work with the team to drive conversion and student retention.
  • Execute the go-to market strategy for new programs
  • Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Bisk information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Interactive Marketing, or Advertising
  • 3-5 years digital marketing experience preferably within Higher Education or an agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing campaigns and tactics for lead generation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, A|B testing, user testing and other web analytics and optimization software and tactics is a must
  • Ability to pull data from a variety of sources (Salesforce, PowerBI, Media Platforms, etc..), analyze, report and effectively communicate insights and determine action items for optimizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, track, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with strong intrapersonal skills
  • Experience with Wordpress & Instapage sites/pages including page editing, date changes, and other minor tweaks
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Skilled proof reader of various forms of content including emails, sms, blogs, social posts, presentations, and more
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Very strong experience with Microsoft Office
