POSITION: Mechanical Designer/EngineerJOB DESCRIPTION: Currently seeking entry level Mechanical designer with working knowledge of HVAC design
(Plumbing experience a plus) and AutoCAD/REVIT design experience.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate in the design and integration of HVAC and plumbing design implementation.
- Perform design cooling/heating load and energy calculations.
- Coordinate project assignments with lead engineers and other designers.
- Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, engineers and architects.
- Research code issues and works with City, State, and County officials.
- Ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience and training, specifically in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in HVAC and Plumbing design.
- AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
- Understanding of building codes and how codes are researched.
- Must have initiative and be resourceful.
- Good analytical mind, and great communication skills.
- Ability to work with a team of other designers.
- NOTE: Will also consider newly graduated or near acquiring BS in Mechanical Engineering for trainee or
